In this frequency range, 217Hz is the modulating signal being used in Global System of Mobile. This study investigated the possible effects of 217 Hz pulsed electromagnetic field on the anxiety and the cortisol level in rats. Twenty four male Wistar rat (200 - 250 g) were randomly grouped into test, sham and control. Using a pair of Helmholtz coil system, the test group was exposed to a uniform   pulsed EMF of 200µT intensity for 4 h/day for 21 days. A similar procedure with no field was repeated for the sham group. All groups were tested in an `Elevated- plus` maze system. Then via the heart puncture scheme, the blood samples were collected. The serum cortisol levels were evaluated using ELISA method.The ANOVA test revealed no significant differences for the Elevated- plus maze test. Serum cortisol level was significantly higher in test group compared to the control group.These findings were in consistent with the work of others indicating that low frequency band of EMF might not have any effect on the anxiety but it increases the cortisol levels as a stress marker.}, keywords = {Extremely low frequency (ELF),Anxiety,Elevated- plus maze,cortisol}, title_fa = {اثر میدان الکترومغناطیس پالسی کم‌فرکانس بر میزان اضطراب و غلظت کورتیزول خون در موش آزمایشگاهی}, abstract_fa = {افزایش استفاده از امواج الکترومغناطیس کم‌فرکانس باعث نگرانی در مورد آثار بیولوژیک آنها شده است. در این محدوده امواج، فرکانس 217 هرتز به علت حضور در پنجره فرکانسی و همچنین مدوله‌کننده امواج پرفرکانس سیستم جهانی تلفن همراه مورد توجه است. هدف این مطالعه بررسی اثر امواج الکترومغناطیس پالسی با فرکانس 217 هرتز و شدت 200 میکرو تسلا بر میزان اضطراب و غلظت کورتیزول خون در موش صحرایی است. 24 موش نر صحرایی از نژاد ویستار به طور تصادفی به سه گروه تابش، شم و کنترل تقسیم شدند. با استفاده از کویل‌های هلمهولتز،گروه تابش روزانه 4 ساعت و به مدت 21 روز، تحت تابش میدان یکنواخت پالسی الکترومغناطیس با شدت 200 میکرو تسلا قرار گرفت. این روند برای گروه شم نیز در غیاب میدان تکرار شد. همه گروه‌ها در ماز بعلاوه‌ای شکل مرتفع سنجیده شدند و سپس با استفاده از کیت الیزا میزان کورتیزول خون آنها اندازه‌گیری شد. تحلیل واریانس یک طرفه داده‌ها در ماز بعلاوه‌ای شکل اختلاف معناداری را نشان نداد. در گروه تابش افزایش میزان کورتیزول در مقایسه با گروه کنترل تفاوت معناداری داشت. این یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که احتمالاً تابش‌دهی موش‌های صحرایی میدان‌های الکترومغناطیس کم فرکانس پالسی با شدت  200 میکرو تسلا بر اضطراب تأثیری ندارد؛ اما باعث افزایش کورتیزول به عنوان شاخص استرس شده است.}, keywords_fa = {میدان‌های الکترومغناطیس فوق العاده کم فرکانس,اضطراب,ماز بعلاوه‌ای شکل,کورتیزول}, url = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13107.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13107_6971d0aa0633efff0d9ec1ffa2cd89e0.pdf} }
