In cerebral arteries, the danger of embolism is that the ruptured particles are carried into the brain, provoking neurological symptoms or a stroke. In this research, for the first time, we have presented a numerical model to study the complete blockage of the human common carotid artery resulted from the physical motion of a blood clot bulk with spherical geometry in it. In the numerical model, a transient flow was assumed in an axisymmetric finite length tube. The incompressible Navier-Stokes equations were used as the governing equations for the fluid and a linear elastic model was utilized for the blood clot bulk. In order to model the contact conditions between the blood clot and arterial wall, an axisymmetric rigid contact model was used. The arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian formulation (ALE) was applied to analyze the solid large displacements inside fluid flow. The results indicated that during contact between stenosis and the clot, separation and reattachment regions were occurred on the stenosis extensively which are susceptible to thrombosis onset and growth. By abruption of the clot from the arterial wall during its passage through the stenosis, an extensive recirculation zone occurred downstream of the stenosis and beneath the moving clot bulk. Analysis of the clot motion and deformation have showed that when the clot passed the stenosis completely, the areas near the clot peak had a large tendency to expand which indicated the propensity of these areas to disperse. }, keywords = {Biofluid,Biomechanics,Hemodynamics,Stenosis,Contact analysis,finite element method,structure interactions}, title_fa = {تحلیل عددی انسداد کامل شریان کاروتید معمولی انسان در اثر پدیده ترومبوآمبولی شریانی با ارائه یک مدل اجزای محدود تماسی}, abstract_fa = {ترومبوآمبولی شریانی از مهم ترین عوامل مرگ و میر در بیماران قلبی است. در شریان های خون رسان مغز، ذرات جدا شده لخته های خون به صورت آمبولی به بافت مغز منتقل می شوند و سبب ضایعات عصبی یا سکته مغزی می شوند. در این تحقیق برای اولین بار یک مدل عددی ارائه شده است که در آن انسداد کامل شریان کاروتید انسان در اثر حرکت فیزیکی یک توده لخته خون با هندسه کروی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. در این مدل عددی، جریان خون گذرا در یک مجرای متقارن محوری با طول محدود در نظر گرفته شده است. از معادلات تراکم ناپذیر ناویر- استوکس به عنوان معادلات حاکم بر سیال و از یک مدل الاستیک خطی برای توده لخته خون استفاده شده است. برای مدل کردن تماس بین توده لخته خون و دیواره شریان در محل گرفتگی، یک مدل متقارن محوری تماسی صلب در نظر گرفته شده است. برای تحلیل تغییر مکان های بزرگ جامد، از فرمول بندی لاگرانژی- اویلری دلخواه (ALE) استفاده شده است. نتایج به دست آمده نشان داد که در زمان تماس بین لخته و گرفتگی، نواحی جدایش و اتصال مجدد جریان به طور گسترده روی گرفتگی اتفاق می افتد که این نواحی مستعد ایجاد و توسعه ترومبوزیس شریانی هستند. با قطع تماس بین دیواره و لخته در حال عبور از گرفتگی، ناحیه پایین دست گرفتگی و زیر توده لخته در حال حرکت، جریان گردابی بسیار وسیعی ایجاد می شود. بررسی حرکت و تغییر شکل لخته نشان داد که با گذشتن کامل لخته از گرفتگی، نواحی نزدیک به قله لخته، میل شدیدی به انبساط پیدا می کنند که تمایل به واپاشی را در این نواحی نشان می دهد.}, keywords_fa = {بیوسیالات,بیومکانیک,همودینامیک,گرفتگی,تحلیل تماسی,روش اجزای محدود,برهمکنش سیال و جامد}, url = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13416.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13416_de1cd773c8ca3055c37525cff19c1921.pdf} }
