It is because of the complexity and variety of factors that can affect orthodontic treatment. The friction force at the contact surfaces with an undetermined magnitude, makes the orthodontic treatment unpredictable. In this study, friction coefficient and forces were investigated in new designed bracket that had beveled edge which has been modeled based on standard bracket. Torque, tip and angulations angles of the brackets slot are designed. Arch wires were modeled by two rectangular and circular cross-sections and the effect of geometry on the stress distribution and the friction force was investigated using Finite Element Method (FEM). The results have showed that the stress concentration generated in the bracket which has been the most curvature, decreased compared to the standard bracket at the contact wire and bracket braces. In addition, results have showed that friction in the beveled edge bracket was significantly decline compared to the standard bracket and also are less than the type with minor curvature. Results of investigation of friction between the two types of round and square wire, have revealed that the round wire has lower friction and confirmed previous studies. Finally, due to the reduced friction in the brackets which have been the most curvature, this type of design is appropriate to decrease friction force.}, keywords = {Orthodontics bracket,finite element method,Critical contact angle,Friction Force,Curvature in Outlet Edges (COE)}, title_fa = {بررسی مقایسه‌ای نیروی اصطکاک در محل تماس بین سیم و شیار براکت ارتودنسی به روش اجزای محدود}, abstract_fa = {ب‍ه دلیل‌ پ‍ی‍چ‍ی‍دگ‍ی‌‌ه‍ا و ع‍وام‍ل‌ م‍خ‍ت‍ل‍ف‍ی‌ ک‍ه‌ بر ارتودنسی م‍ؤث‍ر ه‍س‍ت‍ن‍د، م‍ت‍خ‍ص‍ص‍ان‌ ارت‍ودن‍س‍ی‌ در صدد م‍طال‍ع‍ه‌ م‍ک‍انی‍زم‌ ح‍رک‍ت‌ دن‍دان‌ از ق‍ب‍ی‍ل‌ ت‍ع‍ی‍ی‍ن‌ راب‍طه‌ ب‍ی‍ن‌ ان‍دازه‌ ن‍ی‍روی‌ اع‍م‍ال‍ی‌ و ن‍رخ‌ ح‍رک‍ت‌ دن‍دان‌ در ارتودن‍س‍ی‌ ه‍س‍ت‍ن‍د. در این میان وجود نیروی اصطکاک با مقدار نامعین در محل تماس درمان ارتودنسی را غیر قابل پیش‌بینی می‌کند. در این تحقیق براکت استاندارد بامدل‌‌های براکت طراحی شده بر اساس گرد کردن لبه‌‌های خروجی سیم از شیار براکت، با توجه به زوایای موجود در شیار براکت، با دو نوع سیم ارتودنسی با مقطع مستطیل شکل و دایره‌ای مدل‌سازی شدند و اثر هندسه‌های مختلف بر توزیع تنش و نیروی اصطکاک با استفاده از روش اجزای محدود بررسی شده است. نتایج نشان داد در براکت‌هایی که دارای انحنای بیشتر در باله هستند، شدت توزیع تنش در محل تماس سیم و براکت در مقایسه با براکت استاندارد کاهش یافته است. همچنین نتایج نشان داد که با افزایش انحنای باله مقدار اصطکاک در براکت با باله استوانه‌‌ای در مقایسه با براکت استاندارد کاهش قابل توجه دارد و در مقایسه با براکت‌‌های دارای انحنا، کمتر است. بررسی نتایج تفاوت اصطکاک در دو نوع سیم با مقطع گرد و مستطیلی، کاهش اصطکاک را در سیم مقطع دایره‌‌ای در مقایسه با سیم مقطع مستطیلی نشان داد و مطالعات قبلی را تأیید کرد. در نهایت با توجه به کاهش اصطکاک در براکت‌‌هایی با باله دارای انحنای بیشتر، طراحی این نوع براکت و استفاده از آن بمنظور کاهش اصطکاک مناسب به نظر می‌‌رسد.}, keywords_fa = {براکت ارتودنسی,روش اجزای محدود,زاویه تماس بحرانی,نیروی اصطکاک,انحنای لبه خروجی}, url = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13282.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13282_4aaa9a2e65d087f16a8d31c899bcad72.pdf} }
