Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is now a widely accepted tool for detection of artifact in EEG data. This component-based method segregates artifactual activities in separate sources hence, the reconstruction of EEG recordings without these sources leads to artifact reduction. Identification of the artifactual components is a major challenge to artifact removal using ICA is the. Although, during past several years, it has been proposed for automatic detecting the artifactual component, there is still little consensus on criteria for automatic rejection of undesired components. In this paper we present a new identification procedure based on statistics and time-frequency properties of independent components for fully automatic ocular artifact suppression. By comparing the statistics and time-frequency properties of independent components, the artifactual components were identified and removed. The results on 2000 4-s EEG epochs indicate that the artifact components can be identified with an accuracy of 92.8%. Moreover, statistical test indicates that the statistics and time-frequency properties of artifactual components are significantly different from that of non-artifactual components.}, keywords = {Independent component analysis,Ocular Artifact,Electroencephalogram,EEG,Short-Time Fourier Transform}, title_fa = {حذف خودکار آرتیفکت چشمی از سیگنال های مغزی با استفاده از ویژگی های آماری و زمانی- فرکانسی مولفه های مستقل}, abstract_fa = {مهمترین مشکل در بررسی و پردازش ثبت های الکتروآنسفالوگرام (EEG) حضور انواع سیگنال های ناخواسته (آرتیفکت ها) است که حذف آنها با روش تحلیل مولفه های مستقل از بهترین گزینه های ممکن است. هدف مساله تحلیل مولفه های مستقل جداسازی کور ترکیبی خطی از منابع مستقل است. با اعمال این روش روی سیگنال های مغزی آغشته به آرتیفکت، آرتیفکت ها به صورت مولفه های مستقلی استخراج می شوند. تشخیص خودکار مولفه های مستقل مربوط به آرتیفکت از سایر مولفه ها باید بر اساس معیارهای مناسبی صورت گیرد. هنوز درباره انتخاب این معیارها توافقی کلی وجود ندارد. در این تحقیق مجموعه ای از معیارهای آماری و زمانی- فرکانسی معرفی شده است که می توانند در قالب یک قانون تشخیص و تصمیم گیری خودکار، مولفه های نمایانگر آرتیفکت های چشمی را با دقت بالا شناسایی کنند. در روش پیشنهادی به جای مقایسه معیارهای محاسبه شده برای مولفه ها با سطوح آستانه یا الگوهای خاص، ویژگی های مولفه های یک آزمون با هم مقایسه می شوند و بر اساس یک قانون تصمیم گیری مولفه های نمایانگر آرتیفکت چشمی (اثر پلک زدن و حرکت افقی و عمودی کره چشم) در صورت وجود در آزمون مورد نظر شناسایی و حذف می شوند. عملکرد روش پیشنهادی روی 2000 قطعه 4 ثانیه ای سیگنال EEG حاوی انواع آرتیفکت های چشمی آزمایش شده است. دقت تشخیص روش در مورد این داده ها 92.8% به دست آمده است. آزمون های آماری نشان می دهند که مقادیر معیارهای مربوط به مولفه های آرتیفکت و غیر آرتیفکت تفاوت قابل ملاحظه ای با هم دارند.}, keywords_fa = {تحلیل مولفه های مستقل,آرتیفکت چشمی,تبدیل فوریه زمان- کوتاه,EEG}, url = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13382.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijbme.org/article_13382_5ff068f419095ea36b7494a8916e2812.pdf} }
